Does Your Design Speak Emoji?

Date TBA

Emojis aren’t just fun, they’re changing the way we communicate across the world. The hieroglyphs of the future, emojis have opened up a global language and innovative font technologies that will expand possibilities for designers, font developers, and anyone working in communication and technology.
Though they seem but colorful sprinkles in our texts and tweets, emojis are inching their way into “official” communication. Those who use them seem friendlier in everyday life and even more credible at work. Sales emails that use them in their title attract more attention. Their playfulness is their power.
Tomorrow’s designers need to understand where these symbols originated, where they’re going, and how they can be leveraged to delight users.
