Re-Writing Silicon Valley’s VC Playbook
Tech hubs are appearing in new cities and regions in the US and across the world from Austin to London to Beijing to Africa - and the list goes on.
It turns out Silicon Valley does not have a monopoly on tech nor does it on the venture capital that pours into the sector. The VC industry - just as technology - is in flux with more and more firms challenging the traditional model we’ve come to know during the rise of Sand Hill Road.
This panel brings together investors from various firms who are approaching Venture Capital differently and throwing out the Silicon Valley playbook as we know it. We’ll discuss how they approach investing from a global standpoint, startups to scaleups, the VC evolution and ask the question --- have modern day tech companies outgrown the traditional VC?
