This panel will discuss how young Black womxn creatives are reclaiming and retelling the stories of their communities when no one else will. Traditionally it's been nearly impossible for Black womxn creatives to have their stories told, and taken seriously, but there's a new generation who is no longer taking no for an answer and forging their own path. This panel will explore how young Black womxn are successfully using none traditional forms of media (such as social) to ensure their voices are heard, why they are unapologetically carving out space for themselves and others like them, and how they see their creative contributions changing the landscape.
