Black Men in Cannabis Meet Up: Prosecution into Profit
Please be aware that cannabis and related laws vary. Programming in this track is designed to inform attendees about this fast-changing industry, and does not promote the use or sale of illegal drugs.
The Cannabis industry has made over $52 billion and has no signs of slowing down. But black people, especially black men, are being shut out of the earnings. For years, African Americans and Latinos have been incarcerated at a larger rate than their white counterparts for marijuana related offenses. This meet up will go over some of the ways more black men can get involved in cannabis advocacy and business. Join us for an open conversation.
