Redefining Womanhood without Children
Historically the function of the female was to procreate, and moreover, childbearing defined womanhood in society. We have evolved as a species, and many women seek to redefine womanhood when children are not the goal. We ask: What does being a woman mean, in the absence of children? What does society say about this? Are we monsters? Selfish? Barren? Do we have less, or greater capacity to create impact?
This meetup intends to discuss the implications of our evolution as uterus-owners with women who have made the decision to not have children. Join us with an open mind.
