Fluent Mandarin and background in classical Chinese philosophy allowed me to access a radically different system of thought. In China, relationships matter more than contracts, a personal recommendation sells better than a business plan, you can bargain down a price on an ecommerce website, and emails and credit cards have almost ceased to exist.

In the West, we know very little about the Chinese way of thinking, yet there are more daily ecommerce shoppers in China than the whole population of the USA. I will be sharing 10 of my favorite tips & tricks of successful cross-border collaborations from my personal experience of 10 years living in China and running a cross-cultural business consulting firm.
