Blockchains Breaking Tentpoles

Date TBA

In today's climate of movie making, comic book films and other franchise blockbusters are the tentpoles that prop up the big studios’ film divisions, while smaller independents struggle to survive. Blockchain technology may be able to level the playing field and allow for a group of independent production companies to come together and achieve blockbuster level of success. But, how?

Can blockchain enable us to take a page from Enterprise Resource Planning’s book and apply it to the film and entertainment industry? Are we on the brink of a revolution of creative technology where a collective of independent production companies can do what only a studio has been capable of to date? What are the barriers to such a collaborative effort? How can blockchain be leveraged to remove barriers?
