Blockchains Breaking Tentpoles

In today's climate of movie making, we have giant comic book films and other blockbusters that pitch the giant circus tent for the studios. Is there a way to bring blockchain to the mix and allow for a group of independent production companies to come together and achieve the same level of success as the giant studios? Some experts believe blockchains can do for companies what Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) did for giant corporations - allow a co-op of actors to achieve what was once only possible by large corporations.

Can we leverage this thinking and apply it to the film and entertainment industry? Are we on the brink of a revolution of creativity where a collective of independent production companies can do what only a studio was capable a couple years ago?
