Many rising artists are leveraging non-music creative arenas to grow their careers. This panel will discuss ways this is currently happening and strategies that musicians can utilize to accomplish similar feats. Panelists will include members of the Nerdy People of Color (NPC) collective, a group of creatives who advocate for representation of marginalized groups in nerd/geek spaces. Many others have leveraged their various creative verticals to rise in their own lanes and intersect the worlds of hip hop, anime, video games, wrestling, etc..
