Designing for a World Beyond Screens
As digital surfaces continue to evolve, so does the process behind user experience design. As we move beyond the pixel into a world of immersive experiences, the challenge UX designers face remains the same: to create a consistent experience on any platform the audience chooses to consume it on. In the past, that has meant making small adjustments for the varying shapes and sizes of screens. But with the rise of AR, VR, and voice, UX solutions now have to adapt to all mediums. Designers are no longer expected to design for just the desktop and mobile, but also experiences beyond the screen. They will be challenged with creating a seamless experience from an iPhone to a television or an Alexa to a Microsoft Hololens. In this session, learn about the latest immersive digital experiences.
