Commodification of Personal Data: Who Owns It?
Communities around the world are locked in a debate about the value of personal data - which begs the question: if personal data is so valuable, then who owns it? Join us for this critical conversation where we discuss the implications of pending legislative proposals to treat our personal data as a commodity, and explore how to empower consumer control over personal data and whether property principles are a solution.
