How to Use Humor as a Mindfulness Strategy
When we're stressed out or life is just owning us, people often say "You need to laugh it off" or "Have a sense of humor about it". That's great, but nobody ever tells us HOW to do that. I'll provide evidence-based strategies for how you can develop your sense of humor into an intentional tool to reduce your stress and boost your overall well-being & performance. If you're thinking "That sounds great, but I'm not that funny" then you're either humble or self aware which are both more important than being funny. You don't have to be funny — I'll teach you that. Using a combination of proven strategies & research from positive psychology, neuroscience, and improv & stand-up comedy, you'll leave with numerous actionable ways to start using your own sense of humor as a mindfulness tool.
