Podcasting is a dynamic medium that allows us to share the multitude of our stories for a global audience. But while the podcasting industry’s economy ramps up and the number of podcasts surpasses 670,000 in Apple’s directory, podcast hosts and creators of color still remain grossly underrepresented -- and undernetworked.
This meet up invites SXSW podcasters, audio storytellers and technical professionals of color to foster meaningful connections with industry peers, participate in a knowledge exchange of ideas, and share new resources and opportunities. Together, we’re creating a new ecosystem where our talents and stories are central to the future of podcasting -- so we hope to see you at this year’s official meet up!
