Danielle Durack
"Somewhere over the melancholy rainbow, lives a sound as sad and sweet as Danielle Durack. Every song on her latest album Bashful, is packed with hints of Arizona sunshine and the sting of sand storms.” - The Family Reviews
Danielle Durack is an independent singer-songwriter born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona who kicked off 2019 by releasing her new album Bashful a couple weeks into the New Year. The single, “Sunshine,” landed Durack on several editorial Spotify playlists, as well as earned her a great deal of attention from local press. In recent months she has been staying busy exploring stages throughout the country, opening for national acts such as Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Sydney Gish and Jade Bird.
Her songs seem to speak for the gentle crowd on self-reflection and a longing for a more loving future, all the while struggling with self-worth. She speaks of lost love without cynicism, harboring a unique sense of gratitude, starting over again in different ways and all the while she crafts this bedroom pop for introverts and homebodies, as much indie folk as it could be baroque pop. Danielle Durack is a new talent that your ears really need to get to know.
