Steelo Foreign
Austin, Texas-based producer, engineer & songwriter Steelo Foreign (Christopher Auld) went from teaching himself music sequencing and musical composition in his college dorm room to mixing records for artists like Stunna 4 Vegas, King Combs and producing records for artists like Jazz Cartier and OG Maco. Born in Arlington, TX, Steelo began his musical career under the moniker Steelo Foreign shortly after graduating High School and dropping out of college after his first semester in 2012. Steelo grew the urge to create music after being influenced sonically by Corbin, Bobby Raps and Toro y Moi. The desire to build a career as a music producer was motivated by the legacies Rick Rubin, Dr. Dre and Kanye West. On the path to becoming an internationally known hitmaker like his idols, Steelo has been able to build an impressive reputation and resume after collaborating with artists such as Nef The Pharaoh, OMB Peezy, Valee, Smooky Margielaa, Felly, and Yung Simmie. Steelo has engineered records for Trae Tha Truth, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, ChaseTheMoney & Honorable C Note and performed as a DJ for artists like Ugly God IDONTKNOWJEFFERY, Maxo Kream and Curren$y.
