Dan Bettridge
“Blending a discography of radio-ready anthems, dreamy indie stunners and classic rock bangers”, Bettridge weaves an alternative spirit into everything he makes.
While a traditional singer-songwriter at heart, echoing influences of Americana, Soul, Rock & Folk, his output defies rigid classification. It’s a compelling smorgasbord of styles that’s larger than the sum of its parts. With measures of intimate poetry and narrative-based lyric writing, Dan’s songs delve deep into themes of love, politics, freedom and the complexity of the human condition.
Named Acoustic Magazine’s “Next Big Thing”, Dan is quickly gaining momentum as an artist to look out for in 2020.
Backed internationally, Bettridge’s debut LP ‘Asking For Trouble’ featured on iTunes Canada’s homepage, found its way onto notable editorial playlists, and reached across radio networks. Dan currently sits on an impressive discography spanning 7 years; 2 EPs, 1 double-length album, and a slew of mesmerizing singles and covers. His steady release schedule continues into 2020, with a forthcoming EP (its name currently under wraps) to be released in the Spring.
Dan is a PRS Foundation Momentum funded artist.
