Anthony E Paterra is a multi-instrumentalist and percussionist based out of Pittsburgh, PA. In 1999 the space-prog duo Zombi was co-founded along with Steve Moore. They've since released multiple LP's on Relapse Records and are currently active, with a new album slated for release in 2020. In 2009 Paterra began releasing albums on the label Temporary Residence under the moniker Majeure, and in 2017 joined the band Grails as keyboardist/synthesist. 2019 saw the release of the album “Mass Flashback” on Austin based Holodeck Records. Paterra has also scored numerous experimental films along with film rescores, most recently rescoring the film “Ra” (along with Curved Light and True Creature) at 2019’s SXSW. Paterra's work focuses on instrumental composition using analog and modular synthesizers, along with acoustic percussive elements.
