Sue Foley
Sue Foley is a triple-threat lead guitarist, songwriter and vocalist multi-award-winning musician.
Foley has a long history of defying convention, and being a positive role model for aspiring, young female musicians. She began her recording career in Austin, TX with Antone’s. She holds the record for the most Maple Blues Awards in Canada and has earned three Trophees de Blues de France.
Sue performs as a solo acoustic and electric guitarist, or with a three piece band and is equally comfortable performing in a music club or on-stage at a festival with audiences of over 10,000. She also offers workshops illustrating blues music, guitar skills and music history.
Her latest album, The Ice Queen (Mar 2 2018) features special guests Jimmie Vaughan, Z.Z.Top’s Billy F Gibbons and Charlie Sexton - as well as other Lone Star State all-stars. It has been nominated for a Juno Award, Two Blues Music Awards and Six Maple Blues Awards. Other accolades include:
