Quivers

When It Breaks

Quivers make guitar pop with four distinct voices that jangles and shimmers somewhere between 1980s Australia and 1990s America. Started by Sam Nicholson in Hobart and joined by Bella Quinlan, Holly Thomas and Michael Panton, the now Melbourne band toured the ragged harmonies of their NPR-endorsed debut album, "We'll Go Riding on the Hearses" (Hotel Motel Records) around Australia, Canada, and New Zealand before showcasing to rapt rooms at the 2019 SXSW Festival. They've also started on the Australian festival circuit and supported the likes of Angie McMahon, Holy Holy, Sonny & The Sunsets and Methyl Ethel. A second album, Golden Doubt, featuring KEXP-loved singles "You're Not Always On My Mind" and "When It Breaks" is so close we can almost hear it.
