Andrea Cruz, is a Puerto Rican artist, leaning towards singing, composition, accompanied by the guitar in her expression. The descriptive sound of Andrea Cruz is a reflection of her musical experiences, officially started in 2014 using the pseudonym of “Amapola”, which developed a clear concept combining different genres such as: indie folk with anglo influences and clear Latin American sounds in her musical arrangements. As a base, Andrea Cruz extracts from society their values, culture and experiences. With a stronger artistic image, Andrea Cruz released her debut album "Tejido de Laurel" on September 2017. The album climbed into prestigious positions within Puerto Rico's most important music lists between 2017 - 2018. After two years of formation and exposure in and out of Puerto Rico, including presentations in renowned festivals such as SXSW and LAMC. The singer-songwriter started 2019 with her NPR's "Tiny Desk" Concert and the release of a new single “Véngole” featuring Gaby Moreno. On Spring 2019 she did her first promotional tour in Mexico City, Toluca and Puebla. She is now promoting her latest single “Vernos Crecer” and working on her second album.
