Imagine a “rapper” who was way more than that. A young man that in a short life span has experienced everything from prison, to selling drugs to survive, to witnessing death, and more. AND yes, we have heard these parables from so many rappers before- but not like this.
For Shannon McWashington aka Vi$ion, these hardships aren’t something he sees as negative. His outlook is always in the realm of taking the bad and allowing it to fuel his energy to create something great. The moniker Vi$ion was given to him in prison because even while incarcerated, he always had foresight into what the future would be- his vision is to never stop trying to write history.
“I’m the light skin Elon musk” – he says with a grin.
His debut album “Look What I Found” showcases a talented producer, emcee, singer, songwriter and visionary, creating forward thinking projects that will define entertainment for the next decade and change the world.
Yes, It may sound crazy, But the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are usually the ones who do.
