Sophie Goossens

Sophie is a digital media expert with over 10 years experience as Counsel to the media and technology industries. Based between London and Paris, Sophie is leveraging London's world class expertise in the field of digital media for clients everywhere in the world.

Sophie focuses, in particular, on all issues shaping the future of the media industry from a technological, commercial, legal but also from a policy making standpoint. Her practice stretches from assisting cutting edge services and household media brands in digital music, advertising, OTT Video services, videogames, data, AI and VR to navigating the Digital Single Market Strategy and the intricacies of EU law.

Sophie lectures about International and European copyright at University Paris XI. She is a regular speaker about digital music, AI, Data and Copyright. She has been acting for the European Commission to moderate a cross-sector consultation about the nascent Music Moves Europe program.
