Kate Niederhoffer

Kate is a social psychologist with expertise in text analysis and digital mental health research strategy. She consults with startups and non-profits on digital mental health solutions, the development of research programs, and ethical data collection and usage practices. She was previously the Director of Research at 7 Cups, a web and mobile peer-to-peer emotional support platform, and has been an organizer of the Computation Linguistics and Clinical Psychology workshop for five years. Kate was the founder of Sooth, a mobile platform for advice acquired by DreamsCloud (2016). Previously, she was Director of Measurement Science at Nielsen Online (BuzzMetrics) and EVP, Strategy at Dachis Group (now Sprinklr).
