Tricia Katz
Tricia Katz heads Developer Evangelism at Magic Leap, a spatial computing company blending tech, biology and creativity to reveal new worlds within our world.
Throughout her tech career, Tricia has focused on emerging technologies, such as Chatbots and Augmented Reality, and is the developer behind OV Trail Shop, Outdoor Voices AR shopping experience. She is a 4x SXSW speaker, the recipient of the Austin Under 40 Technology Award, and runs several innovative technology user groups, including VR Cafe.
Tricia is dedicated to diversity and inclusivity in the technology community, speaking across the country to businesses, professional organizations and academic programs. She currently serves on the Ann Richards School Foundation board of directors, and also helps organize the annual introduction to coding event for Country Girls Code, an outreach organization for girls in rural areas throughout Texas. She is a past Director for Women Who Code, Young Women’s Alliance Mentor, and Advisor for IGNITE Fire Pitch.
