Marc Penzel is Founder and COO, leading global growth and impact. Prior to founding Startup Genome, Marc co-led the startup ecosystem development unit at Silicon Valley-based Startup Compass. At PwC, KPMG and Bayer Group’s internal management consultancy, he advised top executives across various sectors. Marc also founded a Nonprofit organization to catalyze social innovation and was appointed Expert in Entrepreneurship, IT and Future of Economic Progress by the World Economic Forum. He holds a U.S. Visa for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability or Achievement.
