Gabrielle Zilkha
Gabrielle Zilkha is a filmmaker born to a family of funny neurotics in Montreal whom she credits for her love of storytelling and addiction to carbs. Gabrielle is the director of "Queering the Script", a feature documentary about queer fandom. Her recent credits include the CBC digital series "Queer (Self) Portraits" (TO Webfest Award for Best LGBT Series), the feature documentary "Doing Jewish: A Story From Ghana" (Vision TV). Her short comedy "Stop Calling Me Honey Bunny" was shortlisted for the Iris Prize and the recipient of multiple audience and jury awards. Gabrielle is a proud proponent of diversity in the industry and works as Director of Programming at POV 3rd Street, an organization that helps marginalized and under-represented youth break into the media industry.
