Alejandro Machorro Fernandez

Founder and director of COCOLAB, one of the most important studios in Latin America that combines art and technology to create multimedia experiences for art and entertainment, building the mayor night experiences attractions in archeological sites across Mexico in sites like Teotihuacan and Chichen-itza.

In COCOLAB has been collaborating and working in projects such as Disarm installation by Pedro Reyes, which is a automatized musical band made out of weapons that used to belonged to the drug cartels of the north of Mexico, multimedia experiences in exhibitions, live shows, or experiences like White Canvas, a light room filled with hundreds of light beams that explore the relation between space and light. His work through COCOLAB is been showcasing all over the world including countries like Brazil, Japan, Spain, Italy, UK, USA and the Netherlands.

Alejandro believes that inspiration is the engine of any form of creation and this is why to inspire people is one of the main purposes of COCOLAB through the creation of unique content and experiences. In recent years under his lead at COCOLAB, Alejandro is been changing a balanced model of the a company that works for clients to a company that produces their own experiences.
