Blockchain Founder & Former Obama Presidential Appointee

Cleve is founder of LOGOS, a social network on blockchain. She is also editor of a weekly crypto newsletter - Blockchain Buzz - which chronicles the emerging decentralized economy. Additionally, she is curator of the quarterly "Blockchain Who's Who: 50 To Watch" list.

Previously, she was an Obama Presidential Appointee, serving as Director of Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration, where she promoted White House economic programs and national public-private partnerships to advance innovation and entrepreneurship.

Her acumen in public policy stems from her tenure on Capitol Hill, working as Communications Director for U.S. Representatives Betty McCollum and Barbara Lee, coordinating with Congressional leadership to launch major legislative initiatives.

She has met with the Congressional Blockchain Caucus to advocate for non-technical startup founders and entrepreneurs. In 2017, she was a featured speaker at the launch event for ALPHA HAITI, the first national incubator to foster entrepreneurship and job creation.

Further, she was appointed to the Board of Library Trustees by DC’s Mayor in 2016 and worked in City Hall in NYC in 2017.

Cleve earned a Master of Arts degree from Howard University. She started her career in broadcasting at CNN's Washington Bureau.
