Eric is from the Paris area where he got his Electrical Engineering degree from ESIEE Paris with a specialty in Integrated Circuits architecture and design. He started his career with Texas Instruments on the French Riviera working on the first-generation smart phones in collaboration with Nokia. Eric moved to the US 19 years ago, first to Colorado where he worked on networking chips before rejoining Texas Instruments in Dallas initially, moving to Austin 12 years ago to work on TI’s ARM based System on Chip (SoC) for the mobile industry. In 2012, Eric joined the newly established Altera ARM based SoC design center and help create the first SoC FPGA and subsequent generations which today are used in all kind of systems from Autonomous vehicles to Data center accelerators powering AIs and other data hungry applications. In 2018, Eric joined Tenstorrent, a startup designing a new type of processors for the Artificial Intelligence.
