Jennifer Sukis

Jennifer Sukis works at the intersection of user-centered design and artificial intelligence, leading the creative team for IBM Watson. With a background in Swiss design and typography, Jennifer’s journey as a designer has evolved from branding to interfaces, apps to AI. Currently, Jennifer is delivering the AI Accelerator Mission—a new component of IBM's renowned Design Thinking practice—across the IBM Watson, Cloud, and IoT platforms. Under her leadership, the program teaches strategists, designers, and engineers how to use cognitive tools to create transformative and compelling AI experiences. Concurrently, Jennifer teaches Advanced Design for AI at the University of Texas’s Center for Integrated Design. She is also a member of the technology board of the National Head Start Association and serves on the AI Design and Technology Board for the University of Texas at Austin. Previously, Jennifer served as Principal Design Strategist for Substantial and as Associate Creative Director for the global design agency frog, where she led teams for ADP, Chase, Nike, and Samsung.
