Jasmine Vallejo
A student of culture, people, and technology, Jasmine Vallejo is committed to serving the Latinx community and increasing diversity in the tech industry. She moved to Austin by way of San Antonio in 2008 and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. Her past work has included multicultural marketing, building strategic marketing programs, and delivering in-depth data and analysis on user experience to help develop products that are inclusive for all. She currently leads Community Engagement for a major tech company and is a Board Member of Latinas in Tech, a non-profit that is focused on empowering and connecting Latinas in the technology industry though professional development, recruiting, and mentorship. Jasmine’s work has been fueled by her passion for advocating for underrepresented communities by holding spaces that foster community, intersectionality, and the rights of marginalized people. It’s important to Jasmine to empower communities that shaped her as a young Latina.
