Tyler Wakstein

Tyler Wakstein is an investor, advisor and creative entrepreneur. He is the founder of OpenNest, a venture studio based in Venice, CA. Designed to accelerate growth for startups, talent and established brands launching transformative ideas rooted in the power of community. We believe that brands with the resources to create trends and distribute ideas have the responsibility to dictate culture, not chase it.
Prior to starting OpenNest in November of 2016, he was a partner and Managing Curator at Summit Series and led strategic partnerships at The Life is Good Company.
He is an eternal optimist and now sits on the board of the The Life is Good Foundation. In 2015, Tyler invested in Luce Farm, an organic hemp farm in Vermont. Tyler is an outdoor enthusiast, music lover and enjoys a cold Vermont IPA.
