Jayson Berryhill
Jayson is a partner and co-founder at (en)visible, a company focused on improving visibility within global food systems based on a core belief that many of the social, financial and environmental challenges the world is facing today can be linked to the systems that have evolved to bring us our food. He has more than a decade of experience in mobile technology and has worked in partnership with organizations such as Unilever, Facebook, the US Department of State and the GSMA on developing digital innovations for food and agriculture supply chains.
Prior to his work at (en)visible, Jayson lived in Indonesia for 5+ years working for XL Axiata, one of the largest mobile network operators in Southeast Asia, leading their flagship sustainability initiative. Jayson’s work interests have always been at the intersection of technology, design and social/environmental impact. Recently this includes incentivizing data sharing within supply chains using blockchain in order to provide benefits to stakeholders such as greater access to markets and preferential trade finance. He is the co-author of the white paper, Fishcoin: A Blockchain Based Data Ecosystem For The Global Seafood Industry and the co-designer of a blockchain-based traceability platform that (en)visible is rolling out in collaboration with sustainability network BSR.
