Chris David Garcia
An award-winning creative force and sports innovator, Chris David Garcia first joined the Houston Astros in 2007, where he transitioned from marketer to creative. Prior to the Astros, he worked in the MLS Houston Dynamo marketing team helping lead marketing and creative efforts in their first championship in 2006. In 2017, Chris helped lead the Astros creative team in innovative creative content during their World Series championship run. As an industry-leading creative visionary with over 15 years of design, marketing & branding experience, Chris has helped shape some of professional sports most well-known brands, working with world-class professional athletes and top c-suite leaders to integrate campaign messages across all media channels - digital, print, experiential and retail. Chris currently oversees design, photography, creative process and production, digital graphics content planning, broadcast advertisement campaign development, signage and print graphics, special projects and visual storytelling. Chris has now led creative and content for two championship teams. In 2014, Chris also founded Major Level Creative CONNECT conference, a creative conference that originated in Houston, and brings hundreds of sports professionals together each year in an exclusive gathering of major league creative minds & artists from around the nation in the pro sports design and creative industry. The conference is annually hosted by a pro sports team every year, at a pro sports stadium and covers everything from best practices, game-changing design software, content trends and the influence of visual communication as it impacts multicultural fan affinity. Chris also launched his creative strategy consultancy in 2017, where he brings the creative world of live entertainment and the rebrand process to the forefront of nationally known mega churches and local lifestyle brands.
