Sanders Van Waveren

Sander van Waveren is 39 years old and has a master’s degree in Spatial Planning from Utrecht University. He worked as a consultant and civil servant before joining the national City Managers Association in 2016. He is head of the office and responsible for the association’s conferences and professional training as well as coordinating lobbying efforts and cooperation with government departments and other organizations. Separately, since 2010, he has been a city councilor in his home town Utrecht, at 355.000 inhabitants the fourth city in The Netherlands.
