Jinny Gudmundsen is a nationally recognized children's technology expert. Currently, Jinny consults on using tech in children's media projects. She is also the Founder and Editor of Tech with Kids, a leading digital magazine that reviews kids' apps, video games, tech toys, and websites. Jinny is a "For Dummies" book author writing the "iPad Apps for Kids" book.

A professional reviewer of children's technology for over 20 years, Jinny spent 15 years as the syndicated Kid-Tech Columnist for USA Today and the over 100 Gannett newspapers. She also penned a syndicated children's technology column for the Los Angeles Times.

Jinny has also served on judging panels for several national awards programs for the toy, video games, and apps industries. She has appeared on national TV and radio as a children's technology expert, including NPR radio shows, ABC's World News Tonight, The Better Show, and Hallmark's Home and Family. And she has also acted as a consultant for schools in deciding what technology to use in the classroom and in training teachers in technology use.

Jinny has written for numerous publications including Los Angeles Times, ABC News.com, San Jose Mercury News, Child magazine, Family PC magazine, Your Family magazine, Computer Source Magazine, On Magazine, Common Sense Media, and many others. She is the co-author of the book The Parent's Pocket Guide to Kids & Computers.
