Jenny Cooney
After graduating with my B.A. in Journalism from RMIT in Melbourne, I was a staff writer for TV Week Australia in Melbourne and Sydney before moving to Hollywood to work for comedian Phyllis Diller. Eventually I returned to my first love - journalism - and I became a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, covering film and television for some of the world’s most prestigious publications and being privileged to vote for the Golden Globes. I’ve been on the streets of New York with Woody Allen, watched Daniel Craig as James Bond on the Mexican set of Spectre, sung with Hugh Jackman, interviewed my screen idols Paul Newman and Robert Redford, and visited the set of iconic TV shows all over the globe, including: Lost, House of Cards, Downtown Abbey, The Crown, Outlander and This is Us. I’ve done intimate cover stories and on-camera TV interviews with A-listers from Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford to Angelina Jolie and Julia Roberts and I still pinch myself every day that I get to do this for a living!
