Kay Parry

Kay Parry serves as a Senior Vice President, Technology Banking and Equity Funds Group in the Washington DC office of Square 1 Bank, a division of Pacific Western Bank. Kay works with technology companies and investment firms to provide debt capital solutions to high-growth technology companies from seed to expansion stage. Kay serves as an advisor to several organizations that focus on access to capital for start-ups including the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA), Evergreen Advisors (investment bank and corporate advisory firm) and Kayo Conference Series’ Women’s Private Equity Conference. She is also a member of the DC Steering Committee of the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE) and the Mindshare Organizing Board (a tech CEO mentoring group). Prior to Square 1, Kay served as a principal with Paperboy Ventures, a DC-based family office where she led and managed early-stage tech investments. Kay also was on the executive management team for two technology startups in the DC area and was a strategy consultant with Dean & Company. She earned a BA in Economics and Government with cum laude honors from Dartmouth College.
