Kevin Lopes

As Director of Business Development & Innovation Kevin leads our BDI efforts, which includes identifying and evaluating potential third-party opportunities, variety of initiatives, including esports, betting and advanced technology initiatives. Kevin has extensive ESPN experience having worked with the programming group for 10 years, most recently as Director, Digital Media Programming & Acquisitions, where he has been responsible for scheduling/operational oversight of 10K+ live digital events, digital collegiate acquisitions, DMVPD scheduling/metadata, and esports programming acquisitions and strategy. Kevin currently leads ESPN’s esports strategy and has personally negotiated ESPN’s esports agreements including the first live esports event to air on national linear TV in April 2015 and the most recent Overwatch League agreement. Prior to ESPN, Kevin worked at the Big East Conference in Providence Rhode Island. He has a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Rhode Island.
