Dr. Suzanne Barber is the Founding Director of The Center for Identity and the AT&T Endowed Professor in Engineering at The University of Texas. Formerly, Dr. Barber served as Director of Software Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Barber is an expert in digital privacy and has published over 300 articles in refereed publications documenting innovations in the areas of information assurance, cyber-trust, cyber-security, identity management, intelligent agent-based systems, and software engineering. Dr. Barber has invented and commercialized core technologies that provide unprecedented levels of project/system visibility and knowledge discovery to all stakeholders. Her research has been supported by the DoD, NSF, NIST, Oce of Naval Research, National Cancer Institute, U.S. Congress, the State of Texas, and numerous corporate organizations.
