Adriana Marchione
Adriana Marchione, REAT, RSMT, MA is an expressive arts therapist and somatic movement educator. Since 2000 she has been working at the intersection of creativity and psychology along with thirty years in the arts as filmmaker, visual artist, Argentine tango dancer, and arts curator. She has a well-established practice in San Francisco, teaches internationally and at Tamalpa Institute, a world-renowned movement arts education center. Marchione has a special focus working with addiction, eating disorders and grief, and was awarded Artist of the Year by In Recovery magazine in 2016. She is currently directing The Creative High, a documentary film that explores how working artists with drug and alcohol addictions create and find recovery.
