Tasha McCarter
Tasha McCarter is the Director of the Austin Chapter of Black Women in Science and Engineering (BWISE), an organization focused on bridging the leadership gap for Black women in STEM. She received her MBA from Michigan State University and her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University. Tasha is currently the managing partner of Adaptive and Efficient Design Services, LLC, and engineering and architectural design firm based in Austin, TX. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in six states and a certified Project Management Professional. In addition to her work with BWISE, she is the Co-founder of #WI, and Austin-based focused on building an ecosystem that connects top talent from diverse backgrounds to Austin’s most innovative companies.
