Jason Owens has over 15 years of experience in marketing, product management and sales. He joined the Schlage business in February 2016 as Director – Consumer Marketing for the Schlage Brand to spearhead strategic and creative tactics that will continue driving the growth of the Retail business. In this role, Jason is responsible for leading the Consumer Marketing team to develop integrated Consumer and Channel marketing programs, robust demand generation strategies, content creation, and digital amplification all to increase awareness and brand loyalty for Schlage. Prior to joining Schlage, Jason was VP – Marketing and Product Development at Dorel Industries for the Cosco and Safety 1st brands in the Home Furnishings division. He also held positions in Brand Management at S.C. Johnson on the Ziploc Container brand, and at GlaxoSmithKline on the Tums brand. Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Psychology from Indiana University, and his MBA in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
