Marina Freytsis
Marina joined TIDO in 2017. She is a matchmaker for life science companies and venture capitalists interested in working with Boston Children’s investigators to develop and/or license their technologies. This includes building new industry partnerships, managing existing strategic alliances, and overseeing the office’s internal and external marketing and communications efforts.
Prior to joining TIDO, Marina earned her PhD in Genetics from Tufts University’s Sackler School of Biomedical Graduate Research, working first on pharmacogenetics of drug glucuronidation and ultimately completing a dissertation on cellular mechanisms and mouse models of aortic valve disease. While at Tufts, she completed an internship in the Technology Transfer and Industry Collaboration office.
