Rebecca Campbell
Rebecca Campbell has served as chief executive of the Austin Film Society for over 20 years, connecting hundreds of thousands of people to the life-changing power of film. She is a leader in developing a healthy film ecosystem for Texas that includes economic development programs, film culture for the whole community, and opportunities for career leaps for filmmakers. Prior to joining AFS, Rebecca spent 12 years in the nonprofit sector, serving as Executive Director of two statewide California organizations, following which she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Video and Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Virginia.
