Shrujal Baxi
Shrujal Baxi is a board-certified medical oncologist who currently serves as medical director at Flatiron Health, where she focuses on real-world evidence generation. In addition to active involvement in therapeutic clinical trials, Shrujal has used large national cancer registry data to investigate practice patterns in oncology. In addition, she has published on the non-oncologic outcomes associated with cancer including toxicities of treatment. In response to findings, she investigated systems-level solutions to facilitate delivery of comprehensive survivorship care. Shrujal simultaneously received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and her masters in public health with an emphasis on health policy and administration from the University of Illinois School of Public Health. She then moved to New York City to complete residency at New York University. After serving as a chief resident, she completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and joined their faculty in 2011, where she specialized in cancers of the head and neck, salivary glands, and thyroid along with non-melanoma cutaneous malignancies.
