Marc Alessi

Marc Alessi is a serial tech entrepreneur who happened to be the New York State Legislator for the area at the time Wardenclyffe laboratory was in need of preservation. Mr. Alessi helped secure the first $850,000 of grant money from New York State to save the historic site; the grant required a match, and this requirement became the impetus for launching TSCW’s record-breaking crowdfund campaign. Mr. Alessi is the Founder of SynchroPET, a biomedical device start-up. He is also an angel investor, and the Executive Director of the Business Incubator Association of New York State, a trade association made up of over 90 business incubators and accelerators which mentor over 2,000 startups across New York State. Mr. Alessi is an attorney by trade and regularly advocates and lobbies government officials for technology companies and the innovation ecosystem of New York State.
