Allison McGuire

A serial entrepreneur and skilled storyteller, Allison Monaghan McGuire created Walc to fulfill her vision of a walkable world. As a passionate presenter and brand builder, she has won every competition in which she’s pitched, including McDonalds' SXSW Innovation in Transportation Challenge and BMW’s Future of Mobility Competition. Allison is an author of two patents and has been featured in media outlets across the world, including Fast Company, The New York Times, Business Insider, and Fox 5 News. As the founder of the Monaghan McGuire Creative Collective, Allison empowers entrepreneurs through pitch workshops, one-on-one coaching, and technical development services. Prior to tech, Allison worked in national security and human rights, managing portfolios within the US Congress, UK Parliament, and for national NGOs. She is a frequent public speaker and an active member of Summit, Women's Startup Lab, and Dreamers//Doers.
