Gale Bowman
Gale Bowman is the founding director of IrishAngels, an investment network affiliated with the University of Notre Dame. Since its formation in 2012, IrishAngels now has 225 active investors, making it one of the largest angel groups in the country. Bowman also founded IrishAngels Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund. To date, she has led 50+ investments totaling over $25 million in seed and Series A capital.
Bowman’s previous work experience includes forecasting and consulting for new product launches with Nielsen and corporate strategy with Orbitz. She received a BBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She was a founding Board member of the C200 Scholars Network, and she is currently a founding Board member of Chicago Blend, an organization focused on increasing diversity in Chicago VC and startups. Bowman is a Kauffman Fellow and also assists with the University of Chicago’s Alumni New Venture Challenge.
