Corey Takahashi is a professor, journalist, and multimedia producer. At Syracuse University's Newhouse School, Takahashi teaches undergraduate, graduate, and midcareer courses on multimedia storytelling. His research focuses on how technology changes the modern story for creators and young audiences. Takahashi is a longtime cultural contributor to NPR and Monocle, and he has filed feature stories for Quartz/Atlantic Media, CBC, BBC/PRI, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Takahashi worked on staff at Vibe and Entertainment Weekly magazines, Newsday, and Public Radio International/New York Public Radio. He has served as an adviser to nonprofits, tech and media startups, and a wide range of student entrepreneurs.
