Gianni Riotta
Gianni Riotta is a Visiting Professor at Princeton University Pirelli Chair and the Director of the Luiss University Journalism School and Data Lab in Rome. A columnist for the daily La Stampa he contributes to the Bbc and has written for The New York Times, Washington Post, Le Monde, Financial Times, Foreign Policy and other publications. He was a member of the EU High level group on disinformation and his team Catchy is participating in the EU SOMA project on fake news. Catchy was a recipient of a Google DNI grant to fight disinformation with the algorithm Compass. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Executive vice-chair of the Council for the US and Italy Gianni lives in Ny and Rome.
